1  General Category / General / anyone use durabak bedliner coating? on: August 20, 2010, 03:34:16 AM
i want to spray the bed of my truck and was thinking of cleaning up my rockers giving the truck a nice two tone paint job.  durabak has a lot of color options so but i would like to know if it will really old up even just to daily driving it.  i used herculiner once and it looked good for about 6 months and then went down hill fast.  just thought i would see if any one local has used it and how well it has held up, any discoloration, chipping or peeling, things like that.  thanks.

you know if you were just looking for any sort of trail truck there is a bronco 2 i saw on craigslist for 800.  it has a bad trans but comes with a replacement, allready has 33's and a 3 in lift(probably body)

that certainly is a large trail truck, it looks like you could fit 35's in there.  i know what you mean about killing your dd.  i have been thinking about selling my truck and getting an older ranger to play with and possibly a nice car for driving around.  well good luck with the poker run.
7  General Category / General / cj fender compatibilities on: February 15, 2010, 08:31:18 AM
my uncle is building up a cj5 and is looking to replace the fenders.  it is an earlly cj 5 which has a shorter wheelbase then the later 5's and cj 7's.  I was wondering if the fenders on all cj 5s and cj 7s are the same length?  it appears that the cj 7s and the later cj 5s are longer through the hood but it could just be the area between the fenders and the tub that has been lengthend, i havent had acces to any other cjs to confirm this.

10  General Category / General / what would be a good tire width on: March 06, 2009, 01:23:27 PM
hi, i am looking to replace the tires on my ranger(on stock 16x7 rims) and i have some questions on sizing.  the initial size i was thinking was 235/85 16(31.7x9.3+/-)  but the common 31in size is 265/75 16 (31.6x10.4 +/-).  the question i have is would that inch in width make a noticeable difference off road? or should i just go for the cheaper size?
